Latest Spar accolades announced

Montgomery’s season just got even better with manager Clive McNamee (right) and the talented Gaz Bromley both picking up league awards.

 

The monthly Spar Mid Wales League accolades have, for the first time, merged three months into one due to the atrocious weather with McNamee named Division Two manager-of-the-month and Bromley receiving the players’ gong.

 

It has been just reward for Montgomery who have gone an incredible 14 games without defeat to firmly become established as the division’s title favourites.

 

Meanwhile, Llanidloes manager Antony Griffiths has been named manager-of-the-month for division one after orchestrating his side’s move into the top four, and Ian Probert’s role in Berriew’s title charge has been recognised with the players’ title.
