Hamilton departs Guilsfield
One of the most talented players to have graced our local pitches in recent years has accepted an offer ‘he couldn’t refuse’ to leave Guilsfield.
Asa Hamilton has been in stunning form for the villagers this season as they finished fourth, but the striker has announced his decision to join league rivals Airbus Broughton.
Manager Nathan Leonard confirmed: “Unfortunately the big man Asa Hamilton has left Guilsfield. Gutted to see him go but it’s an offer he couldn’t refuse and I wish him all the best. (There will) Always be a place for him at the Guils. Great player, great teeth, and more importantly top man!”
Hamilton was a massive crowd favourite at Guilsfield and was in demand from other clubs all season, but stayed loyal to the Guils, helping them to fourth spot.
