Ashley, Butler remain unbeaten

Only two players remain unbeaten in the Newtown Premier Darts League after previous leader Jamie Kynaston tasted defeat for the first time this season.

Kynaston lost twice in week four and plummeted to 10^th, showing just how close the table is.

Gareth Ashley moved top, just one point ahead of Welsh international Mitch Butler.

The highest checkout this week was 124 by Shaun Davies in his 4-1 win over Dave Rix. Nathan Dobson continued his good run of form with a 4-1 win over Neil Astley.

Kacey Jones also had good wins over Johnnie Francis Paul Bordewey, while reigning champion, Craig Davies, was held to a draw by Ewan Jones.
