A Charity testimonial football match has raised £655 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Guilsfield stalwart Gareth Jones is leaving his home club after 16 seasons to become assistant manager at Caersws and players representing Guilsfield and Welshpool Town took part in the game on Friday night.
Gareth played his first senior game in the Welsh Premier League for Welshpool before starting a long career with the villagers.
Ronald McDonald Houses provide free or low-cost lodging and meals for families with hospitalised children and also provide mobile medical care for children and families in vulnerable communities around the world.
