It was a disappointing evening for both Llanrhaeadr and Guilsfield in the Huws Gray Alliance, but the heavyweights ground out wins in the MMP with Norman Lloyd Mid Wales League.
Llanrhaeadr suffered their first defeat of the season when going down 3-1 at home to Airbus, while Guilsfield never got going at the seaside, losing 3-0 at Penryncoch.
In the Mid Wales League, Caersws kept their 100% record intact with a slender win at Tywyn Bryncrug, while Welshpool Town returned to winning ways at Churchstoke and Llanfair made it three wins from three at home to Llansantffraid. Kerry picked up a big win over Berriew.
There were wins for Guilsfield Reserves and Trewern in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League top fight, while Waterloo Rovers Reserves edged a nine-goal thriller against Llanymynech in division two.
