The Welsh Cup returns to local action this weekend, but the games get underway with Newtown and Llanrhaeadr in action tonight.
Newtown head to Llanelli looking to piece together some consistency in the JD Welsh Premier, while Llanrhaeadr host Gresford in high spirits following a midweek win at Penrhyncoch in the Huws Gray Alliance.
On Saturday, Guilsfield host Holyhead Hotspur and a host of local clubs including Abermule, Four Crosses, Caersws, Carno and Llanfair United are in Welsh Cup action. The tie if the day sees Welshpool Town, fresh from a 3-1 win over Llanfair in midweek, welcome Llanidloes Town.
The prestigious Emrys Morgan Cup gets underway Saturday with a number of local amateur league clubs heading south west to Cardigon.
