Derby day in FAW Trophy

Two big Montgomeryshire derbies are the highlight of a busy weekend of league and cup action across Mid Wales.

In the FAW Trophythird round, Caersws entertain Llanfair United while Carno host Berriew as the stand out ties of local interest. 

Llansantffraid Village, Churchstoke and Four Crosses are all at home while Llanidloes Town hit the road looking for a place in the round four draw.

In the Huws Gray Alliance, Guilsfield will be looking to push on from their mid table position at Holywell, with Llanrhaeadr’s match at Denbigh Town being postponed.

There’s a sprinkling of Mid Wales Leagueaction, and among the big games in the amateur league, unbeaten Forden United and Guilsfield Reserves entertain Trewern and Maesyrhandir respectively.
