Big two square up in Mid Wales League

18/01/2019 @ 11:52

First face third in the big match of the day with Llanidloes Town hosting Berriew in the MMP Mid Wales League.

Leaders Llanidloes are seven points clear of Berriew in third, but David Jones’s side have three games in hand so victory would put them right back in the mix with plenty of games to go.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Guilsfield and Llanrhaeadr are both at home in the Huws Gray Alliance, while Mid Wales division two leaders Montgomery host Borth United.

The big match in the amateur league sees leaders Guilsfield Reserves take their 100% record to Forden United who will be looking to bounce back from a shock defeat last week to reignite their own title bid.
