Welshpool facing up to relegation
Technogroup Welshpool were relegated as they crashed 2-0 at home to Buckley in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Pool failed to overcome their massive points deduction and now only clubs failing to be promoted can save Pool from starting next season in the Spar Mid Wales League.
Goals from Wes Brerreton and Neil Wynne broke the hearts of Pool followers at Maesydre.
Guilsfield however stepped closer to safety with an impressive 3-2 win at Llangefni. Mark Evans put the Angelesey side ahead inside a minute but the Guils hit back through top scorer Ross Frame and midfielders Mark Davies and Gareth Jones, before Darren Thomas netted a late consolation for Llangefni.
Caersws continue to finish the season well and crushed Porthmadog 5-2 after racing into a four-goal lead.
Goals from Gareth Sudlow, Graham Evans, Marc Griffiths and a Neil Mitchell brace gave the Bluebirds a badly needed win with Darran Gowens and Paul Roberts getting the goals for Port.
Elsewhere Rhayader were beaten 2-1 at home by league leaders Rhyl.
Llanrhaeadr and Llanidloes took advantage of Berriew having no league fixture to narrow the gap at the top of the Spar Mid Wales League.
Llanrhaeadr won 3-1 at Bow Street and Llanidloes won by a similar margin at Tywyn/Bryncrug.
Watrerloo Rovers were held 1-1 at Aberaeron, Carno beat Builth 4-1, Llansantffraid went down 2-1 at Newbridge while Dyffryn Banw drew 1-1 at Penparcau.
In the second division Meifod went down 3-1 at Aberaeron.
In the E.R. Jenkins Division Two League Cup, Montgomery stayed on course for the double with a 4-1 win at Tregaron. Abermule edged Llanfair United 2-1, Four Crosses went down 4-0 at Bont and Llanfyllin slipped up 2-1 at home to Rhosgoch.
In the Montgomeryshire Amateur League, Carno Reserves are through to the fourth round of the Llanidloes Town League Cup after winning 5-1 at Llanfair Reserves. Ioan Humphreys (2), Craig Scott, Dylan Jones and Chriis Davies were the Carno scoreres with Guy Wolvesron hitting a consolation goal for Lanfair.
Llanidloes Reserves continued to make the pace in the JT Hughes Honda Division One, beating Llangedwyn 2-1. Josh Jerman and Iestyn Penri were on target with James Wigley netting a penalty in reply.
Closest rivals Caersws Reserves were held to a surprise 1-1 result by Neil Breeze's Waterloo Reserves to dent their chanmpionship hopes. Nathan James was on target for Rovers with Ben Entwistle replying.
Berriew Reserves beat Bettws 3-1 with James Langford, Sam Jones and Joe Jones on trarget for Berriew who also scored an own goal.
Guilsfield Reserves crashed 3-1 at home to Churchstoke, who scored through Josh Atherton, Huw Roberts and George Mellor. Robbie Spragg replied.
In the Mitsubishi Division 2, Llansantffraid Reserves closed the gap on runaway leaders Welshpool Reserves, winning 5-1 at Waterloo Colts with goals from Craig Scott (2), Bryn Jones (2) and Paul Marshall, with Chris Lewis replying.
Ian Rees netted to give Kerry Reserves a 1-0 win over Morda Reserves while Dyffryn Banw shared the honours in a 10-goal thriller with Trefonen. Josh Davies, Jake Davies, Iwan Parry, Evan Boyle and Andrew Blainey netted for Banw with Lee Morris (4) and Jon Becket on target for Trefonen.
Llanfechain beat Llanrhaeadr Reserves 1-0 with a goal from Rob Conlin.
