Air Cadet bags swimming golds

A Welshpool Air Cadet represented the Wales & West Region in a swimming competition involving cadets from every region in the country, and bagged an incredible four gold medals.

Cdt Aaliyah Robins (pictured) won two gold medals in Freestyle and Individual Medley and went on to win a further two gold medals for Freestyle Relay & Medley Relay at RAF Cranwell.

Cdt Robins’ efforts mean she is the best in her respective strokes throughout the entire Corps in 2019, and her fantastic achievements, along with other cadets in the region, meant Wales & West won overall.

“Everyone at Welshpool RAF Air Cadets, No 2 Welsh Wing and Wales & West Region are extremely proud of Cdt Robins for her incredible achievements,” said a spokesperson.
