Original Premier League ref talk

One of the original Premier League referees will be at Latham Park on Thursday at 7pm delivering a talk to the Montgomeryshire Referees Association.

Rodger Gifford will share stories from officiating at some of world football’s biggest matches.

He is currently a Referees’ Assessor, a UEFA Referee Observer and the National Referees Officer for the Welsh FA.

The evening is open to anyone with an interest in football, particularly if you are thinking of taking up the whistle and refereeing local football.
