Promotion for Forden

Forden pulled off a brilliant 3-0 win at Guilsfield last night to secure promotion to the Mid Wales League.

The villagers completed an incredible rise from the second division of the Amateur League in two seasons and also ended Guilsfield’s bid to win every game on route to the first division championship.

After a season without a side in the 2016/17 season Jonny Roberts has transformed the club after arriving from Berriew with goals from Webster (pictured), Jenkins and Harris securing last night’s promotion.

Roberts will now prepare his side for two cup semi-finals before the season ends.
