Dramatic night of Spar action

Llanidloes suffered a big upset to their Spar Division One title aspirations on the same night that Llanrhaeadr kept their hopes alive with a big derby win.

 

Llanidloes slipped up to a 2-1 defeat at Builth Wells last night (Wednesday) as Llanrhaeadr kept the pressure on Berriew at the top with a 2-0 win over Llansantffraid Village.

 

Carno, meanwhile, are finishing strongly and chalked up a 3-0 win at home to Dolgellau.

 

In Division Two, Montgomery are sprinting towards the finish line after a rampaging 7-1 win at Llanfyllin. Llanfair United picked up their biggest win of the campaign by beating Meifod 6-0.
