It was a night to celebrate local sporting achievement, and the new-look Montgomeryshire Sports Awards certainly did not disappoint.
A number of awards were handed out which highlighted the depth of talent we currently have right across the area, whilst at the same time thanking those who give tirelessly to ensure there are plenty of opportunities for all.
The main award of the night – the Senior Sports Personality of the Year – went to athlete Lauren Williams, while Athletics coach, Hefin Rowlands, was named Coach of the Year.
