Marauders begin training

Rugby League team Montgomeryshire Marauders begin training on Wednesday, 7pm at the Maesydre Recreation Grounds in Welshpool.

 

Anyone who is keen to give it a go is more than welcome, regardless of whether they've played any rugby before.

 

With both Prestatyn Panthers and Dee Valley Dragons up and running and already asking for fixtures, it is hopeful that there will be a strong early turn out so plans can be put in place to play games.

 

Last weekend, the club hosted the Celtic Crusaders’ new North Wales Academy Under 18s side for their fixture against Crosfields of Warrington, attracting an excellent crowd (including ex-Great Britain international and current Wales Rugby League President Mike Nicholas).
