Clubs search for new managers

The Covid-19-enforced end of the football season has sparked the start of the managerial search season with both Montgomery Town and Churchstoke announcing vacancies for their hot seats.

The MMP Mid Wales League sides took to Twitter to advertise their vacancies with Montgomery’s Luke Williams deciding to step down after two seasons.

“The Committee fully understands the reasons for Luke’s decisions and wish him all the very best for the future and thank him for all his effort and achievements,” the club stated.

Meanwhile, Churchstoke said their new first team manager would adopt a “strong core of loyal players and a young reserve team” and added that the role would suit an “ambitious young manager looking to make an impact”.
