Guilsfield stayed a point clear at the top of the JD Cymru North with a 2-1 win over Conwy Borough yesterday (Saturday).
The villagers were ahead in just two minutes through Jamie Hyne but a game of six bookings saw Conwy level through Nick Williams on 70 minutes.
Six minutes later Guilsfield were back in the lead with a Iwan Williams penalty proving the decisive goal.
Llanrhaeadr’s woes continued, losing 4-0 at home to Holywell, leaving Marc Griffiths’s side still seeking their first win this season.
