Welsh title for Berriew ladies

Berriew Bowling Club added another Welsh title to their honours board last night.
Berriew Ladies won the Welsh Womens Bowling Association Covid 7 Club Competition under the Llandrindod Wells floodlights.
The village club with the amazing reputation saw off five teams from South and Mid Wales to reach the round-robin finals against Whitland and Whitchurch, Cardiff.
The triumphant Berriew seven saw off Whitland and then beat Whitchurch in a tense game to be crowned Welsh champions.
