New coaching team for Welshpool rugby

Welshpool Rugby Club have appointed their new coaching team for the 2022/23 season.

Long standing coach Dave Roberts has stepped aside, allowing former players Daley Jones, Steve Cross and Allan Tudor to take on the coaching duties.

Unveiled as a “homegrown coaching set-up”, the club said that the trio were “passionate about the success of the team and the club”. 

There will be a players’ meeting this Friday at 6pm in the club house, for all existing players, new players and anybody wishing to get back into rugby.
