Charlie Proctor makes senior debut

Forden based Charlie Proctor has made his first senior start for The New Saints.

Charlie, who is the son of Steve and Mandy Prtoctor, played in Tuesday night's Loosemores League Cup semi final at Bangor City's Farrar Road.

The New Saints took a shock 9-0 lead to North Wales and despite going behind early on hit back with three second half goals.

Charlie played the full 90minutes to add to his only previous appearance as a substitute against Airbus in December 2008

He is a product of the New Saints academy system at The Venue and previously caught the eye with Waterloo Rovers junior set-up.
