Berriew battling to hold onto Thomas

Berriew are facing a huge challenge to hold onto leading scorer Will Thomas.

Thomas, who is the Spar Mid Wales League's top marksman this season is now wanted by a third Huws Gray Cymru Alliance League side - Caersws.

His former boss Russell Cadwallader is known to want to take the former Technogroup Welshpool front runner to Guilsfield with him and Mike Barton was keen to take Thomas back to Welshpool before his own shock departure from the club last week..

But now the villagers face a massive test if they are to persuade Thomas that his future lies in the Spar League rather than the Cymru Alliance with Mickey Evans at Caersws.
