Technogroup Welshpool remain 18 points adrift at the bottom of the Huws Gray Alliance table after going down 2-1 at Buckley Town.

There were plenty of signs of recovery as Chris Herbert’s men went in to the half time interval 1-0 up following Jack Pickering’s 35th minute strike.

But they suffered their 10th defeat of the season through second half goals from Phil Molyneux and Anthony Williams.

In the Spar Mid Wales League, Llansantffraid Village’s charge on the division one title continued with a 4-1 win over Tywyn Bryncrug.

In Division Two, Montgomery’s season goes from strength to strength with a 3-1 win over Abermule. Llanfyllin impressed in beating Llanfair 5-2 and were 5-0 up at one stage. Four Crosses looked rusty in their 1-0 defeat at home to Aberaeron.
