Jess third at Welsh Cyclocross

Hafren Cycling Club made a big impact at the third round of Welsh Cyclocross held at Foxley Estate near Hereford.

The biggest success came through young Jess Bufton in the U8 race where she finished 11^th overall and took third in the girl’s section.

Having moved up a class this year, Sam Holwill raced to an impressive fourth in the U14 race, despite a dropped chain costing a lot of time.

Finally Mike Holwill and Paul Bufton took on the adult’s race finishing 63 and 54 respectively. Next up is round four in Aberdare on October 11.
