50 years of Newmor
According to furniture industry news outlet Cabinet Maker, Newmor will play host to a Garden Party at Powis Castle on June 24 to celebrate and thank its loyal staff in reaching its historic milestone.
This week, Newmor is exhibiting at Messe Frankfurt until January 13, as well as revealing its plans to launch a new residential textures collection under the John Morris brand during spring this year.
Newmor has also announced that The Prince’s Trust will be the company’s main charity in 2017, with the business stating that the partnership would be a ‘fitting tribute’ to its Welsh heritage.
Commenting on the landmark, Toby Morris, grandson of founder John Morris, said: “We have decades of collective experience in design and manufacturing. I cannot underestimate the importance of a skilled and experienced workforce.
“Having our own manufacturing facility and dedicated design studio in one location allows us to offer our clients much greater flexibility in custom design, product specification and efficient delivery.”
Established in 1967, family business Newmor manufactures, designs and develops its wallcovering products at its own local facility in Wales and operates in over 60 countries worldwide.
