Transport firm lands award

Staff at a leading transport and logistics provider in Welshpool have been recognised with a coveted national award for delivering first-class customer service over the past 12 months.

Speed Welshpool, a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, received the award in recognition of its service excellence during 2018 covering overall on time delivery, information on delivery, ETA deployment and collection on time.

The award was presented at Palletways’ recent National Sales and Marketing Conference held at St George’s Park National Football Centre.

Speed Welshpool, based at Buttington Quarry, covers the Mid Wales region, employs 40 members of staff and boasts a 20-strong fleet.
