The team at Welshpool Screwfix have recently taken on Snowdon to raise funds for the company’s charity foundation.
The employees climbed to the highest point in Wales to raise over £650 for Welsh Air Ambulance, Hope House, Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre and McMillan.
“Screwfix colleagues from the Welshpool store have laced up their boots and have taken on a mountain-sized challenge to raise funds for the Screwfix Foundation,” a spokesperson said.
“The entire store team have hiked up Snowdon, over the period of two weekends facing a drastic change in weather.
“The money raised will help the Screwfix Foundation improve, repair and maintain homes and community facilities used by those in need throughout the UK.”
