Concerns growing for missing Welshpool man

12/08/2017 @ 08:06

Friends of a man missing from Welshpool since Tuesday are becoming growingly concerned about his whereabouts.

Police have been searching for 44-year old Greg Hutchins for four days and there have not yet been any reported sightings.

Now Nicky Vaughan,  a close friend of Mr Hutchins, has launched an appeal on social media in a bid to trace him.

“Yesterday he wrote: “It's now over 48 hours since anyone heard from my close friend Greg Hutchins who lives in the Welshpool, Powys area and there are still no sightings of him.

“We are exceptionally worried about him and his current state of mind which is why he needs to be urgently found. This is extremely out of character for Greg to go missing like this which only adds to our worry.

“Please help to find Greg, whether by sharing on Facebook or word of mouth etc. Police can be contacted on 101 if you have information, alternatively you can message me. Thanks for your help.

He was last seen at 2.30pm on Tuesday, August 8, when he was wearing a dark polo shirt and stone coloured chino trousers.

Mr Hutchins drives a silver Peugeot 308, registration number CA09 HVM, and could have travelled to the West Midlands or London area.
