‘We’ve never been busier’

The mad January fitness rush didn’t disappoint at Great Fitness, who are reporting that they have ‘never been busier’ ahead of a big night for the business tonight.

As members and staff, customers and well-wishers prepare for a Charity Promise Auction at the Royal Oak tonight as part of their Paris Cycle Ride fundraising efforts, the business is reporting that the ‘New Year’s Resolution’ rush is continuing well into February.

“We had our busiest ever January, and February has continued to be hectic as there have been lots of new faces sticking to their New Year’s gym resolutions,” said Chris Greatorex, from Great Fitness.

“We have invested considerably over the past few months to keep improving what we can offer our clients, and our numbers show that has been a success so far.”

As well as a three-course meal tonight, a sell-out crowd will enjoy live entertainment and a promise auction with some incredible offers on the table.

“We are cycling from Welshpool to Paris (350 miles) over four days at the end of April in aid of Blossom’s Legacy and Sport Relief,” said Chris.

“We have received some brilliant prizes from local companies for the Promise Auction which will in turn help us to raise huge amounts of money for our charities.

“We’re very grateful for all of the support we have received, and our cycling event is now less than three months away! We’re all training hard and are confident of completing such a tough challenge. It’ll be worth all the hard work when we see how much we’ve managed to raise by the end of April.”

Chris encouraged anyone who wants to see the work they have carried out at the old Pola building to pop in and take a look.
