Recycle your contact lenses

Contact lens users are being urged to recycle their lenses through a free service being offered at Jonathan Partridge Optometrist in Welshpool.

Every year countless countless lenses and pieces of blister packaging end up in landfill sites across the UK.

The ACUVE Contact Lens Recycling Programme is partnering with TeraCycle to allows you to recycle your lenses and blister packaging, preventing them ending up in landfill sites – and all for a good cause.

By recycling with Jonathan Partridge you will not only be helping the environment but the waste you recycle will be used to help fund schools or charitable organisations.

Jonathan Partridge Optometrists is based in Church Street, Welshpool, where you can drop off your used lenses and packaging.
