Welshpool is on the move this weekend with planes, trains, automobiles and plenty more featuring in the Transport Festival.
Several locations (below) throughout the town will be a hive of activity with a free park-and-ride in operation from the Livestock Market to bus people in an out of the town at regular intervals.
There promises to be something for everyone and away from the more conventional forms of transport on show, there will be huskeys (all weekend), a competition at the Skate Park not to mention free try sessions on the canal organised by the Welshpool Canoe Club (Sunday 10am-4pm).
Programmes of what’s on are available from the Tourist Information Centre.
“If it moves, we’ve got it this weekend!” said Robert Robinson, Town Clerk.
