Weekly bingo night for Welshpool!

Welshpool’s awakening from its Covid-enforced slumber continues this week with hospitality venues opening up inside today and the opportunity to hold indoor events is back on the radar.

And the good news is that a weekly bingo night has been announced, to be held every Tuesday evening at the Town Hall’s Corn Exchange. 

“Numbers will be limited at first but we are looking forward to getting underway this Tuesday,” said Alan Crowe, who is organising the event to raise funds for the town’s 1940s weekend later this summer as well the the ENSA Memorial appeal.

The bingo evenings will be held between 7-9pm under strict Covid precautionary measures so that "patrons can enjoy their evening out and feel safe and comfortable”, according to Mr Crowe.

Donations of bingo or raffle prizes are welcomed and with number limited at first, it  is advised to book your spot through 0778 2166342.
