Tablets for top attendees

Pupils have been rewarded at Welshpool High School for their high attendance, with a number beating the target set of 98%!

Every pupil who was above that figure for the last half term was entered into a prize draw for the opportunity to win an Android Tablet.  

A special assembly was held in Theatre Clera with Headteacher, Mr Kinsey, presenting the gifts to the 10 lucky recipients.

“The assembly highlighted the importance of good attendance and celebrated the excellent attendance throughout the school,” the school stated. “Attendance has been linked to academic achievement and employment.”
