Checking out in style!

Welshpool High School’s Year 11 pupils enjoyed one last blow-out together at Alton Towers for their final goodbyes.

The trip was a reward for five years of excellent effort, dedication and hard work and was enjoyed by all, a spokesperson told us, with the pupils making the most of it.

Wicker Man, Galactica, Nemesis, Oblivion, Rita, Thirteen, Smiler, Spinball Whizzer and the Congo River Rapids were all favourites amongst the group. 

“The pupils really enjoyed the opportunity and can now enjoy the summer holidays before receiving their GCSE results in August,” the spokesperson said.
