The popular annual Illuminated Tractor Run will be heading through new areas this year to avoid road closures, with thousands expected to turn out and support once again on December 14.
Organisers released the new route last night, heading towards Guilsfield first before passing through a number of border villages on a loop back to the Livestock Market in Welshpool, from where it will all start at 5pm.
“We’ve tried our best to involve the same villages as we always do, with an additional few this year - Pool Quay, Middletown, Halfway House, Coedway, Crew Green,” said lead organiser Jenny Clarke. “We’ve only added on a few extra miles to the previous year’s route.”
Spectators are welcome at the Livestock Sales from 2pm, with the Grand Depart at 5pm.
