Welshpool Kidney Café up and running

An initiative that is bringing people who are touched by kidney disease together is up and running in Welshpool.

The Welshpool Kidney Café is run by people with kidney disease for people with kidney disease as an informal ‘face-to-face’ gathering to support people, families and carers.

They meet on every fourth Thursday of the month from 11am-1pm at the COWSHACC, with an open invitation to come for a cuppa and a chat.

tand and want to support,” a spokesperson for Popham Kidney Café, who organise the monthly gathering, said. “We are Popham peer mentors with personal experience or we care for someone with kidney disease.”
