MyWelshpoolTV: Full steam ahead after nearly 125 years!

For almost 125 years, steam trains have chugged through our beautiful countryside.

Originally used to transport livestock and goods from Llanfair Caereinion to Welshpool Market, the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway is now a heritage line providing jobs, economic benefits and, of course, a great day out!

There is also a vibrant community of volunteers keeping it on track as we found out when were invited down to take a look.
