An invitation to Girl Guides of yesteryear

Montgomeryshire Girl Guides of yesteryear are being invited to join an 80^th anniversary celebration of the Queen’s Guide Award.

The celebration will take place on November 28 from 2-4pm at Newtown’s Girlguiding Cymru headquarters.

Girlguiding Montgomeryshire would particularly like to hear from past and present members who have obtained a Queen’s Guide Award.

“Even if you are no longer involved in Girlguiding, we would like to welcome you along for tea and cake and to enjoy a celebration of 80 years,” said a spokesperson.
