Man in custody following Raven stabbing incident
Police have appealed for witnesses and a man is in custody after an incident at The Raven yesterday when it is believed a young chef suffered stabbing injuries.
The 20-year-old suffered stabbing injuries and was airlifted to Stoke and released today. A 27-year-old man remains in custody following his arrest at a town centre premises soon after the incident.
A statement said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating an allegation of assault which occurred on Sunday afternoon, 22nd May 2022, at the Raven Inn, Raven Square, Welshpool.
“A man was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested and currently remains in police custody.”
