Election called for vacant Town Council seat

Nominations are being taken for a vacant Welshpool Town Council seat, but you better be quick as the deadline is tomorrow (Friday)!

Voters will go to the polls on February 29 to decide who will fill the vacancy on the Llanerchyddol Ward, but MyWelshpool was only informed of the election yesterday (Wednesday), meaning that those interested must move quickly.

Despite the lack of publicity, a Town Council insider told us “there has been a lot of interest”, so it is hoped that we could see several names on the polling card to choose from.
