The popular Continental Market has arrived back in Welshpool with dozens of stalls providing an international flavour for the next three days.
The town centre has been closed off to traffic to allow vendors to set up and sell food, drink and crafts from across the continent.
The company behind the event, Market Place Europe, is known for bringing events and town centres alive and hopes that Welshpool will be thronging with visitors from today through to Sunday.
“We are excited to see the return of the continental market here in Welshpool!” a spokesperson said.
“From the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow to the Tall Ships Festival in Belfast, the Bedford River Festival to Foyle Maritime festival you’re likely to have visited one of Market Place Europe’s markets.
“Market Place Europe have a long history of supporting national events across the UK with our quality international flavours, crafts and goods.”
The weekend is being organised in conjunction with Welshpool Town Council.
