A Welshpool business has shown its tremendous community spirit once again by launching a Christmas campaign to leave no-one behind this festive season.
After a summer of serving up hundreds of free lunches to Welshpool children, Corey and his team at the Inglenook Café have announced that they will be continuing their heart-warming tradition of cooking Christmas dinners for anyone in need or lonely.
It is the sixth year that the popular eatery will be opening up its heart to the community, ensuring that there is a warm meal available free of charge.
“It’s Christmas!” said Corey. “It’s a time to reflect on what the real meaning of life is, and we’re lucky to be able to give a little to people that might just need to feel seen and not forgotten.
“Isn’t that what it’s all supposed to be about? Give, help and share?”
Christmas dinners will be cooked fresh on Christmas Eve and pre-packaged for takeaway. They can then be collected from the Inglenook cafe any time on Christmas Eve until 6pm.

Corey added that he would like to thank The Nags Head Inn and Andrews Fish Bar for their support of the initiative.
