Brothers making a Hyrox impact!

Three Welshpool brothers are making a huge impact in the world of Hyrox after returning from a London event having placed the town firmly on the sport’s map.

The Marshall brothers - Oscar (15), Henry (13), and Daniel (11) - all competed in the London Youngstars event at the weekend, bringing home some truly impressive results against top-tier youth competition.

The trio all train under the watchful eye of Welshpool boxer-turned-Hyrox ace Warren Sinden who is bringing through a whole new local generation of Hyrox athletes.

​Daniel secured an incredible first place finish in London, topping the podium in his age category, while Oscar won third, matching his stellar performance from the Amsterdam event in January, where he also secured third.

Henry delivered a strong performance to finish seventh in his highly competitive field.

A major highlight of the weekend was the boys meeting Elite 15 athlete Charlie Botterill who Oscar with his third-placed flag on the podium.

The journey is just beginning for these young athletes with Henry and Daniel already preparing to head to Berlin in May to represent Wales on the global stage once again. Meanwhile, Oscar is reaching a major milestone in his athletic career as he prepares to enter his first Men’s Solo race later this year.
