Garthmyl café break-in

The popular roadside café in the lay-by near Garthmyl had some unwelcome guests on Sunday night.

Police are investigating a break in at the property that happened at some point during the night from 8pm-7am.

“Police are asking for witnesses or information in connection with the burglary at a café in the lay-by outside Garthmyl on the A483 towards Welshpool,” the police told us.

“Please contact PC 739 Green at Newtown Police station on 1010 with any information that could assist with the investigation.”
