Only a few games survive

Only a few games survived the weather yesterday with the Huws Gray Alliance clash between Guilsfield and Rhyl ending in 0-0 deadlock despite the visitors being down to 10 men.

Berriew went down 2-1 at Aberaeron in the Spar Mid Wales League, while Forden switched their Central Wales Cup tie with Padarn to Newtown and celebrated an exciting 5-4 penalty shoot-out victory.

Forden were a goal down at the break but hit back through Sutton and Phillips, only for Padarn to snatch a late equaliser. Jenkins, Jones, Carr, Smith and Phillips allnetted from the penalty spot.
