Residents in Guilsfield are beginning their New Year with little, or no, water this morning.
Water has been reduced to a trickle across large parts of the village with hundreds of homes affected.
Severn Trent have confirmed there is a problem and have dispatched a team to the village.
“We have a potential burst water main in the area that is causing the poor supplies to the area,” said a spokesperson. “We have a team in the area now working to resolve this, once we have more information we will let everyone know.”
Residents are advised to follow the company’s Twitter feed for updates.
