Man charged with robbery remanded in custody

The man charged with attempted robbery at the Spar store in Montgomery has appeared in court and has been remanded in custody.

Simon Paul Jones, 24, of Gaol Road, Montgomery, is also charged with two counts of assault on a police officer and criminal damage, all on the same date, Tuesday, January 2.

He was remanded in custody by Wrexham Magistrates’ Court until February 2 to appear at Mold Crown Court.
