Firefighters rescue Noodle

Welshpool firefighters have helped rescue a 34-year-old horse trapped in mud on a country farm.

Noodle became lodged in mud in a field at Penybontfawr and with the help of a local vet the Welshpool crew managed to release the 15 hands horse and reunite it with its grateful owners.

Crews were at the scene for a few hours to delicately rescue the horse using straps and ropes and Noodle was in good health and quickly recovered after the ordeal.
