Crosses in pole position
Four Crosses remain top of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire Amateur League, but Guilsfield Reserves also won to stay two points back with a game in hand.
Crosses eased past neighbours Llanymynech 6-1, while Guilsfield Resreves returned from Newtown with a 2-0 win over Maesyrhandir.
In the division’s other game, Llanfair United Reserves beat Meifod 3-0.
Meanwhile in Mitsubishi Two, Forden United made it 12 wins from 12 with a 4-1 win over Kerry Reserves, closing the gap on leaders Llangedwyn who were stunned 2-1 by Llanfechain.
In the Tanners Wines Town Cup, Waterloo Reserves hit eight past Welshpool Town Reserves without reply.
