Man bitten by dog in town centre

Police are appealing for information following an incident on Sunday morning when a man was bitten by a dog near the town centre.

The details are very brief, and no time of the incident is available, but it happened on Church Bank when the dog, which was on a lead, bit the adult male.

“Welshpool Police are appealing for witnesses to a dog bite incident on Church Bank on the morning of February 11, which involved a brown coloured sheep dog. Please contact 101 with information,” said a spokesperson.
