Live music back in town!

14/02/2018 @ 09:50

It wasn’t that long ago that the town was rocking to the sound of weekly live music at several town centre venues.

But all good things come to an end and despite the odd live night here and there throughout the month, by and large opportunities to get a fix of live music in town have become few and far between.

But this Saturday night will see a revival, with several local and national bands taking to the stage at the Town Hall for a night that is being organised by one of the men behind the Welshpool Country Music Festival.

‘An Audience with…’ is being hosted by Charman Promotions in association with Inspire Records with Stewart Charman known for his hosting of the Showcase Stage at the festival every year.

He will be bringing together artists, One Crow Sorrow, chart topping singer songwriter Emma Swindells, Simon Clewlow and UKCountryRadio.com ‘Band of the Year’ nominees Angels With Dirty Faces.

“I am delighted to be able to showcase Country Music in Welshpool, with my first event and to be able to host it in such a unique building that is a landmark in Welshpool is fantastic,” Stewart said: “The artists that we have performing are some of the best in their field and we hope people will come and support live music.”

Tickets are priced £12.50 and available from https://www.wegottickets.com/event/423373
